Dear Colleagues:
My Bruker AM-400 instrument is dead due to a fried 5V power supply board
in the Aspect-3000. The Bruker part is # "N-105", which is from the
older-style Aspect power supply design. Bruker has none of these boards
available.
I am investigating various ways to circumvent the original power supply
altogether; however, the way the power is distributed within the Aspect
is not yet 100% clear to me. If anyone has an Aspect-3000 carcass lying
around, and you would be willing to sell me the N-105 board, I would
appreciate it immensely. Even if your board isn't working, I might
borrow parts and pieces to put together a working one.
Please reply directly to me (Richard.Shoemaker_at_Colorado.edu) if you
might be able to help me out.
Best regards,
-Rich "no attachments" Shoemaker 8-)
