Dear Dr. Bangerter,
I'm trying to connect an old Varian VXR to a PC. I have the communication program from
Varian, which supposedly allows me to xfer files from the instrument's computer to a
UNIX machine, via RS232 ports. However, I still don't have a UNIX communications
program, e.g, cu. I'm wondering if LINUX had some sort of communications program in
one of it's packages. Could I use LINUX to complete the connection?
