Also, we received our tubeless NMR accessory (VAST) late last year,
and have been busy trying to make it jump through hoops. I must say that
questions and problems persist at several stages of the operation. I get
the feeling that a fair number of us are perhaps grappling with the same
difficulties and this has undoubtedly led to some interesting solutions.
Obviously many of you are using this technique for many different
purposes and with (at least) two manufacturer's products: so there is no
single "right way". But we still have questions on sample transport,
optimised data acquisition, reliable data processing, and data presentation.
To mention a few!
I just received my "Second Circular" for the 14th International
Meeting on NMR Spectroscopy (Edinburgh, 27 June - 2 July, 1999) and it
occurred to me that this might be a good time for interested parties to get
together and share experiences, solutions, and plans. So I would be
grateful if you would respond if you think this is a good idea and would
like to attend. If there's sufficient interest then I'll arrange a venue,
etc.
Thanks,
Mike
PS I'd appreciate this message being cross-posted on other relevant mailing
