Temperature Measurement

Several years ago I purchased a "Data Logger" with an external
thermistor temperature probe (Model RD-TEMP-XT) from Omega Engineering
((800)-826-6342). It is quite small and extremely convenient. It has
software for either a PC or Mac. You just "launch" it and disconnect it
from the computer. It takes up to 1800 readings at intervals you can set
between 0.5 sec to 4.8 hours. You can set it to quit at 1800 or wrap
around. I highly recommend it for monitoring NMR room temperature. In
1993 it was ~$125 plus software ($49).
