Dear all
We are planning to purchase a 600 MHz magnet and spectrometer in
Lahore, Pakistan. This will be the first instrument of this kind in
Pakistan, outside a major hub which is HEJ Karachi.
We have competing offers from two well known manufacturers and we have
to convince our University managers, non-specialists on our
preferences. We like to include in our comparison summary the
availability of after sales support, worldwide market shares and other
more technical details. This comparison against a tendering procedure
is common place with expensive items.
Has anyone ever done such a comparison. I can share details of the
particular bids received and the names in an off-line communication.
