Presumably you've also checked with the independent NMR support people,
including:

MR Resources (Jon Webb)
NMR Associates (Arnold Itkin)
BlueSky NMR (Kevin Geohring)
Open Technologies (Don Frank)
Triangle Analytical (Jerry Hatvany)
IETC

Presumably your probe is Protune-ready.

Be advised that if you find used Protune drive modules that they should
have the drive clutches serviced/updated to address the possibility of
overdriving and damaging the variable tuning capacitor$ in the probe.
There have been Agilent service bulletins and recalls on this. It also
includes adding drive stops inside the probe. Unfortunately the date has
past for getting this done for free under warranty.

Also, there may be some amount of "yelling & screaming" required to get
the protune motor configuration files set up correctly for your particular
set of components.

I would also recommend that you update to VnmrJ 4.2 patch 110 (and
possibly OpenVnmrJ). There have been a number of significant fixes in the
protune routines in VnmrJ since it was first introduced.

We have Protune running on our Inova 500 and AutoXDB probe and have had
the clutch/tuning stop updates installed.

Good luck!
