AMMRLers:
I've got a request from a faculty member about the cost of purchasing a cryoprobe. I am familiar with initial costs and the high maintenance costs of a cryoprobe (we have one on our Bruker 900 MHz instrument). I am, however, stumped on what options there are for purchasing a cryoprobe for an older Varian/Agilent system. I imagine there are used probes out there, but how is the yearly maintenance covered? Also, I would rather not buy used, but are there options for new probes?
Thanks,
Dan Holmes, Ph.D.
