AMMRL: liquid nitrogen transport and fills

ammrlers,

I use a self-pressurizing 160l dewar to do my nitrogen fills. It is
filled on the first floor, and moved by elevator to my basement lab.
During the upcoming building renovation (not my lab!), the elevator may
be out of commission for some time. I have already suggested that that
time be less than a week, but having a back-up plan is always a good thing.

So, thoughts on how to fill 3 magnets if I can't get a large pressure
dewar down to the basement? (I have a vision of standing on a ladder
pouring nitrogen from a 25l dewar into a funnel.)

Replies to me please, and I will summarize for the group.

thanks,

kas
