I left out important information. We have Agilent system, VnmrJ 3.2, Red Hat Linux 6.2, Varian Inova 500MHz and Mercury Plus 300 MHz. Both host computers are Dell Precision T1650. Both of them freeze often. Yes, I patch the computers and keep up with vj sysprofiler updates. I received a lot of good suggestions, I will try all of them with the computer IT guy and keep you posted. Thank you.
