Hello All,
It was great seeing many of you at the ENC, and our meeting was a success in that much interesting and passionate discussions developed between our colleagues.
Of course, the good part was after I stopped talking and allowed more interesting things to happen; however, as requested the slides that I presented, as well as the pictures Shaw Huang shared during his presentation of Harvard's very impressive helium recovery/liquefaction operation, are on the website at www.ammrl.org<
http://www.ammrl.org> (near the top).
Thanks to Walt Niemczura for taking time to add these documents (as .pdf files) to the AMMRL homepage, while still working to get his facilities back on an even keel upon his return from the mainland.
If you were fortunate to share in Shaw's presentation, the slides he has provided will make perfect sense. If you missed it, and have questions about Shaw's photos of the Harvard helium operation, I'm sure he would be happy to share more details upon request.
Thanks to all who made our meeting a success, including Marc ter Horst and Martha Morton for taking a leadership role in organizing the meeting. Martha's idea of web-casting the meeting was a good one, even though we didn't have time to fully implement the idea this year, the Skype experiment was a good starting point. We will hopefully further improve on this idea for anyone who can't make it to Asilomar next year, but would like to share in our AMMRL meeting.
Sincerely,
-Rich Shoemaker
