AMMRL: Temperature control - slimline or traditional system?

Hello,

I have gotten a great deal of information by going through the archives
related to past responses regarding temperature control design and
installation to achieve +/- 1C. At USF we have a single 500 MHz magnet on
the 4th floor and have no control over the building's heat only system. I
want to isolate the NMR room and console from the building as we are having
constant failures of the building's 1965 system. The overall room measures
10 feet wide by 28 deep with a partition wall and open doorjamb separating
the magnet from the console and prep space at 12 feet. The magnet is
located in this smaller partition along with a wall of windows that I will
finally be able to close and cover once we have control over the
temperature of the room.

Has anyone used the newer slimline wall mounted systems by
Fujitsu/Mitsubishi with the heat pump mounted outside. Cost wise it seems
like it would be great, but I wanted to find out if anyone has tried such a
setup. The plan would be to create two zones - first concentrating on
controlling the temperature in the Magnet room and second decreasing the
heat load from the console in the prep area which also accesses the main
hallway.

The other option we have is to setup a system in the adjacent laboratory
where we could suspend a traditional system from the ceiling and then the
run ducts and air return lines from the Magnet and Console.
