AMMRL:Temperature Control Problem

Hello all,
we have a problem with the temperatur control on our two Bruker
instruments (DPX300 and DRX500). After several hours of operation
the BCU05 and heater will shut off. It does not happen
simultaneously, but consistently on both units.

Running the heater with the BCU05 turned off works without any
interuption.

As I have a hard time believing two units are failing simultaneously
my best guess is moisture in the compressed air condensing in the
cooling unit and blocking air flow over time. We use Nordgren D-50
air dryer, and I had the columns repacked not too long ago, and as
far as I can tell, they are switching between drying and regenerating
an a regular basis. My question is, is there anything else but
moisture that could explain the symptoms. And is there a good way of
telling whether the air dryer are actually working properly ? They
were installed before my time, and I can not find any documentation
on them. Is there an easy way to measure moisture content of the air
etc.

Any thoughts on that would be apprechiated
