Dear all,

I invite you to take part in building an open access library of pulse
sequences.
This work can be publishable, so participants will be co-authors of the
paper.

The idea is simple:
* you'll get your own ftp & ssh account and disk space on the server (the
same one that runs NMR Wiki)
(e.g. <yourname>_at_nmrwiki.org or <yourlab>_at_nmrwiki.org)
* upload sequences, waveforms, parameter files, sample data (even 3D!), etc.
into familiar directory structures - like on your spectrometer
* set up documentation on the site (that is editable through the web)

If you are interested to take part in this - please contact me - I'll set up
the server access for you (it is separate from website login) and guide you
through the process.
Please let me know what login name you prefer.

Second part of this project is improving software powering the library.
The plan is to do this simultaneously with collecting information.
That way we'll know best what aspects of the system need to be automated,
and so that there is no downtime because of programming and debugging.
If you are a programmer hobbyist - this is a project that may be worth your
participation.

Best regards,
Evgeny.

-------------
P.S. (i) you can use the server space any way you like too - as long as it
is relevant to magnetic resonance.
(ii) I've made some tiny urls to AMMRL presentations about the wiki & pulse
sequence project
(and others - for completeness) that Josh has posted on his blog.
