Save 2D plot in hpgl format

Dear spinland friends:
        We have a problem to save 2D plot in hpgl format with vnmr.
After selecting the hp plotter option, for 1D spectrum, the
command "pl pscale page('name')" works fine, it saves the 1D
spectrum into a file which can be loaded to word processing
software for editing, but for 2D spectrum, the command "plcosy
page('name')" does save the plot into a file, but when it is loaded to
 the word processing program, one can only see an empty square
box, no any spectum in th box.
        Does anyone have experience in this? Thanks in advance.
